SheAdvance Impact Is Helping African Entrepreneurs Turn Knowledge Into Working Systems
For many African entrepreneurs, the problem isn't a lack of ideas, ambition, or even knowledge. The real challenge is knowing what to do next, and having the systems and support to consistently do it.
This is the gap SheAdvance Impact, an Ibadan-based EdTech startup, is working to close.
Founded by Felicia Aladeniyi, SheAdvance is building a technology-enabled business support platform that helps entrepreneurs, SMEs and purpose-driven organisations diagnose what is holding them back, identify practical pathways forward, and build the capabilities and systems required for sustainable growth.
Its guiding promise is simple: the clarity to start, the support to scale.
SheAdvance sits at the intersection of entrepreneurship education, business consulting and technology. Rather than treating learning as an end in itself, the platform is focused on helping entrepreneurs move from knowledge to implementation.
That focus matters especially in Africa, where many entrepreneurs operate in environments shaped by limited resources, fast-changing technology, informal processes and constant pressure on founders to personally manage nearly every part of their businesses.
As businesses grow, what once worked through personal effort and memory tends to get harder to manage. Processes become more complicated, key knowledge stays locked in the founder's head, and business owners often struggle to turn their own expertise into something repeatable.
SheAdvance is building an approach meant to address exactly that.
The startup uses what it calls its OpTech methodology, combining business strategy, operational thinking, digital capability and technology to help experienced entrepreneurs simplify complex business work and build stronger foundations for growth.
SheAdvance's approach unfolds in three broad stages: diagnose, map and execute, done together with the entrepreneur rather than handed down as a template.
The goal is to help entrepreneurs get real clarity about their business challenges, put practical systems and strategies in place, and use technology more effectively as they grow.
Felicia Aladeniyi, COO/Founder of SheAdvance Impact
The work builds on founder Felicia Aladeniyi's own experience supporting entrepreneurs and underserved communities through entrepreneurship education, financial literacy, digital capability development, career readiness and business growth programmes.
Over the years, she has trained, mentored and supported more than 300 entrepreneurs, women, young people, NYSC members and professionals across various programmes and initiatives.
Her experience includes training more than 100 entrepreneurs in business development, growth strategy and enterprise management, equipping more than 100 NYSC members and young professionals with career readiness and employability skills, and delivering financial and digital literacy programmes for underserved women.
SheAdvance has also worked with nonprofit organisations to provide financial literacy, basic business accounting and money management training, alongside vocational skills development for survivors of commercial sexual exploitation. In addition, the initiative has provided micro-loans, micro-grants and business support to women-owned microbusinesses.
These experiences have shaped SheAdvance's current direction: moving beyond standalone training toward a more structured, technology-enabled approach to helping entrepreneurs actually implement what they learn.
The startup's longer-term vision is to make practical business capability more accessible to African entrepreneurs by combining education, strategic support and technology.
For Felicia, the central question is no longer simply whether entrepreneurs can access information. It's whether they can turn what they know into systems that actually work.
That distinction matters even more as artificial intelligence and digital technologies reshape how businesses operate. Entrepreneurs need more than access to new tools. They need the strategic and operational capability to use those tools meaningfully.
SheAdvance is positioning itself around that opportunity, helping entrepreneurs understand their challenges, build clearer pathways for growth, strengthen their business systems and ultimately build organisations that can operate beyond the limitations of the founder.
The startup is currently based in Ibadan, Nigeria, with ambitions to serve entrepreneurs and organisations well beyond its immediate environment.
Its journey is still evolving, but the direction is clear: build an African EdTech platform that doesn't simply teach entrepreneurs what to know, but helps them develop the clarity, capabilities and systems to put that knowledge to work.
SheAdvance is building for the entrepreneur who is ready to move from complexity to clarity, from effort to systems, and from surviving to scaling.
